Viktor Lelkes - What Remains (Trio for Piano, Violin and Cello)

I composed this piece in 2025 between October and November. The story of the music was inspired by a poem by Renátó Fehér, a Hungarian contemporary poet. The title of the poem is "Köszönőviszony", what could be translated as "Barely on speaking therms". The dramaturgy of the music follows trough a relationship what is very comfortable and peaceful at the beginning, but as the time goes, it gets more and more stressful and complicated. By the end the spark is lost and slowly fades away.
