Primus - Dutchess and the Proverbial Mind Spread - Bend, OR 5/22/26

Dutchess is maybe my favorite Primus song now with John Hoffman in the band, and one I always hope to catch at a show. This one wasn’t even on the written set list! I may have willed it in 😉, drove 3 hours each way and waited hours in the sun for the spot on the rail just left of Ler. Alwsys worth the price of admission and the travel to catch one of these, especially up close. I have learned as I get older to stay on the wings, even if up close, to avoid getting kicked in the head by the crowd surfer, of which there were many. Pede rly positoned here to enjoy the band up close with all crown action just a fee feet toward center. Captured from the rail. Not framed or shot for video, I like to remain in the moment of the show and just turn the phone on and hold it pointed at the band down at my chest. Did zoom in a bit during Hoffer’s solo to try and catch that though.
