Nissan Valve Cover Gasket Replacement Hydraulic-Lifter Service. Part 2/4

This video is about removing the Nissan Vg33e(simular to vg33er) engine right side valve rocker cover, cleaning and service to noisy Hydraulic lifter is associated(see other part series) with this video, see valvetrain contamination and build-up, the prevent oil flow from returing to engine swamp. This is the easy side to practice on, the right side valve-cover of the (97-04) Nissan frontier Vg33e engine valve cover gasket joint replacement. this right-side is also the less likely to leak oil from the valve cover gasket joint, Since it is exposed to a open air environment and is not hidden like the left side valve cover. take a look at the mess that will develop under the valve cover after 140,000 miles of engine operation. the sludge build up under and on the valvetrain cylinder head surfaces will avoid oil flow down to the crankcase sump by restricting its drain passageways. the restrictions to return the oil to the pan swamp will flood under valvecover upper cylinder head to the level of the gasket joint leading to oil leak onto the exhaust manifold. Oil on hot exhaust manifold may cause fire and smoking conditions, dangerous to driver and passengers. lots of cleaning is evolve here. once the cleaning and gasket joint replacement is done. always use a oil flush solution additive to continue maintaining a clean engine internal parts. A oil flush additive must added to the crankcase just before a oil change service. Read in the instructions for the oil flush additive before using. replace the PCV(Positive Crankcase ventilation) valve to help reduce the build up of sludge to the engine internal parts. See PCV valve location here.    • How to Remove PCV part. Nissan Vg33e posit...   Part 1.    • Nissan Vg33e V6 engine. Part 1/4.   Part 2.
