#18 Fluoroscopy and Interventional Imaging II
In this video, I discuss fluoroscopic Imaging chains that use both analog and digital video recording. I describe flat panel detector (FPD) systems and the differences between image intensifiers and FPDs. I explore different fluoroscopy configurations and introduce real time imaging modes. I also describe Image processing tools used to reduce patient dose, and the tradeoffs with image quality. I Introduce dosimetry and patient skin dose indicators.
