The government has confirmed that it will continue to build the toll road from Pematang Siantar to Parapat in North Sumatra Province. This was conveyed by Agus Tripriyono, head of the coordination team and secretariat for the implementation of national strategic projects. The toll road on this route has undergone design changes from the initial plan. The section will also be equipped with two tunnels. Once the design changes are complete, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), the National Land Agency (BPN), and the North Sumatra Provincial Government will follow up on land requirements, and then the construction will begin. The Siantar-Parapat toll road is part of the Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat section, which provides vital access to the Lake Toba National Strategic Tourism Area. #tollroad #transsumateratollroad #sumut
