Performance Exhaust for 3rd Gen Camaro - Adapting Magnaflow to VIN F Tuned Port Injection

I cannot find an exhaust system for my 1985 IROC Z28 Camaro. Several models in this time frame have a catalytic converter with an oval outlet pipe. It seems that there are no aftermarket oem replacement pipes available and the performance systems don't fit this application either. After a long search, I have decided to try to adapt a Magnaflow 16829 Cat Back system to my car. I have found a place (Stainless Headers Mfg) that could make a couple of special adapter parts that we could weld together to connect my catalyst flange to the Magnaflow 16829, 3 inch round pipe. My son in law did the TIG welding to piece the transition together. It actually took two tries to get it exactly right, but now I have the new system working and it's great.
