Some design modifications to the BOSCH POF 1400 (1200) ACE hand router for improved ease of use and expanded technical capabilities. 8:00 - Collet holder in a case 9:26 - Power cord replacement 16:30 - Fine adjustment modification (micro adjustment) 18:10 - Backlight conversion (replacement) with a bright shadowless unit. The LED plate was epoxy-cast separately from the router in a wax (paraffin, plasticine) mold! Replacing the stock backlight with a homemade super-bright shadowless unit. Modifying the milling depth limiter. Modifying the fine adjustment knob. Replacing the power cable and plug with normal rubber ones. Some rawhide screws from the case have been replaced with hardened Allen key screws. Almost all screws in the metal are secured with a detachable thread lock.
