Transfagarasan - the most beautiful road in Romania

The Transfagarasan Road (DN7C) crosses the Fagaras Mountains (also known as the Transylvanian Alps) - the highest mountain range of the Romanian Carpathians. From the northern side it presents most spectacularly, where writhing like a long snake that lazily glides onto the slope's pick, toward Balea Lake. The road continues through the longest tunnel in Romania to welcome us at its end with a beautiful panorama of green slopes and wild horses, sheep and donkeys grazing on them.
