Australian Dentist Dr. Lisa - How to brush your teeth (manual toothbrush)

Hi everyone, my name is Dr. Lisa. I'm a dentist from Brisbane, Australia. Today I would like to show you how to brush your teeth with a manual toothbrush. By no means is this the ONLY way to properly brush your teeth. The method I have shown is what I have found over the years to be the most efficient way to brush for both mysef (when i used to use manual toothbrushes) and my patients. No matter how well you brush, it is impossible for the toothbrush bristles to clean in between the teeth. Hence, flossing on a daily basis is just as important as brushing.
