Heathfield High School Big Band Performs 'Valerie' (12.06.2012)

The school has a vibrant music department with 60 students studying this year.. The school band has participated in the Cape Town Big Band Festival since 2007 and has also attended the Grahamstown Jazz Festival in 2004,2008 and 2009. In 2007 the band performed in the Bonyi International Youth Music Festival held in Brisbane, Australia and in February 2009 performed in the Sekunjalo Edujazz Concert. Our highlight in 2011 was performing at the Tutti World Youth Music Festival held in Beijing, China.
