How to Collimate your Laser Collimator

What is the easiest way to collimate a Newtonian reflector? A laser collimator of course. It takes me 30 seconds to collimate my 16" dob. However, most laser collimators I have tried did not come aligned from the factory. Here is how you can easily verify if your collimator is accurate (and fix it if it isn't).
