Disaster of a product - so many things wrong
Not the most dangerous product I've taken apart, but one that is much more likely to be in common use, thanks to extreme promotion on marketing sites. Where do I even start with this? Totally non-compliant plug with no fuse. Copper coated aluminium flex. Completely metal-free earth/ground wire. Random polarity colour assignment. What appear to be stainless steel "universal" socket contacts. All combustible plastic except the (fairly decent) switch. A USB module that has poor electrical separation. The "class Y" safety capacitor that didn't safety at all. This thing is literally a fire and shock showcase of bad design. The only good bit is the power switch, which is made of self extinguishing plastic and has a very firm contact pressure. If you want to buy one to demonstrate electrical hazards I got this one from eBay (not a sponsor):- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/356041069623 If you enjoyed this video, please consider subscribing for similar content.
