Vintage Sewing Machine Tour: Singer 301

Join me for a close-up look at the wonderful Singer 301 sewing machine! However, for many Singer machines, if you have the serial number, you can still find more details about it, such as when and where it was made: https://serial-number-decoder.com/sin... 01:18 - Again, this used to be on Singer’s website, but I was still able to find it as a download on a Singer 301 Facebook group. 04:14 - If you’re buying one, make sure it has a bobbin case in place (or that the price reflects that it’s missing.) 09:36 - This is a light switch, not a power (on/off) switch! 10:36 - The type of light bulb for this machine. 12:44 - Make sure you have the right kind of bobbin! Bobbins that fit featherweight 221 and 222 will also fit a 301.
