This is SO Rare - Finding Retro Games at Garage Sales | The Grail Hunt Ep. 2
I’m on a mission to turn my death pile into an epic video game collection filled with grails. After picking up a sealed Final Fantasy game, I took $135 to a massive city-wide garage sale to hunt for items I could flip. I ended up with over 100 books (lotted by author), some solid flips like a Marucci bat, a working N64 console (after cleaning the jumper pack), and some questionable buys (like a vertical rotisserie and a huge stamp collection). I also grabbed a few auction finds, made some Marketplace sales, and came away with a profit that gets me closer to my $10K grail goal. Not every pickup was a win, but that’s part of the hunt! Stick around to see what sold, what I regret, and how much I’m adding to the grail fund. Next week I’ll have $470 ready to go for another city-wide sale—don’t miss it!
