Canadian veteran recalls the D-Day landings in Normandy
Canadian and Allied forces landed at Normandy on June 6, 1944. Jim Parks, with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, was among those storming Juno Beach. He would go on to fight in numerous battles through to the end of the Second World War.
