1953 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Pulled from the Barn

Sitting for 20 years, this barn find 1953 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is going back on the road. 1953 was a great year for Cadillac, it was the first year for 12 volt electrical systems and the first year for the single piece rear window. The Eldorado was introduced this year and has become a rare collector’s item. ‘53 also was the year air conditioning became an expensive option that customers could opt to purchase. This car does have a/c along with power steering, power brakes, power seat, power windows and a Hydramatic automatic transmission. This Caddy has been wearing a set of 1953 Buick Riviera wire wheels for a very long time but by the end of the video you will notice it now has the correct Cadillac true wire wheels along with new whitewall tires. After checking the fluids and cleaning out the gas tank, this Coupe DeVille is running well and driving around once again!
