English Breakfast at Bar Fortuna & Walk about in Almoradi

Hi everyone, Pat here, Today I visited the amazing Spanish town of Almoradi. This town has something for everyone. It is a typical Spanish working town and has a mixed population of Spanish, English, Dutch and Belgian people. The town is unusual in that years ago it was rebuilt after the great floods and they built all the roads straight and crossing each other. So you do have a lot of traffic lights and signs in the town. I started off my day, by having a delicious English breakfast at the bar Fortuna, just off the main plaza. The owner is Spanish but this place does an amazing breakfast. I had a big plate for only €4.50 so fantastic value. Definitely a place to visit if you are in Almoradi. Then I walked around the town. There are numerous shops cafes restaurants and bars to choose from whether you want a light lunch or tapas. In the main square you have the beautiful church with lots of trees to sit under and people watch. There are numerous schools and a range of big supermarkets in the town. So it is definitely worth a visit. On a Saturday the streets are filled with lots of market stalls, selling fruit vegetables clothes shoes , cheeses and just about everything else.
