The Dempster Highway
They say the best-laid plans often lead to the wildest stories. That is certainly true for our trip up the Dempster Highway, a brutal, beautiful, 457-mile stretch of remote gravel running from Dawson City, across the Arctic Circle, all the way to the Arctic Ocean. On our return to Dawson city we did a little exploring in town and at Dredge No 4.
