When Rockstar Went Back To School

In 2006, Rockstar stepped away from sprawling crime epics and released something smaller and far more focused. Bully wasn’t GTA in school, but rather a tightly designed social ecosystem set within the halls of Bullworth Academy and the town of Bullworth. In this retrospective, I explore Bully’s development at Rockstar Vancouver, its faction-based hierarchy system, authority mechanics, school simulation elements, original score by Shawn Lee and why it still resonates nearly two decades later. Footage captured from the original PS2 version via PCSX2 in 4:3 and upscaled to 4K. 00:00 Intro 01:22 Background: A Different Rockstar 04:33 Gameplay/Systems/Visuals: Playground Politics 11:33 Soundtrack: A Score With Character 13:09 Legacy: Smaller But Enduring Video Credits ‪@Badinfos‬ ‘How to Fix Bully on PC [Windows 11 Installation Guide for Scholarship Edition]’    • How to Fix Bully on PC [Windows 11 Install...   Join this channel to become a member with some perks: 🔗   / @onehipyt   You can also support me on Ko-Fi here: 🔗https://ko-fi.com/onehip I buy my own PC games from Fanatical and Green Man Gaming, and you can too with legally sourced Steam keys at discounted prices.
