Nikkor AI 85mm f/2 Review

The manual-focus Nikkor 85mm f/2 was introduced as an AI-series lens in 1977 and remained in production until 1995. It is Nikon's smallest, and with only five elements, simplest, 85mm focal-length lens. A model of high-quality glass and metal construction, this lens can take a beating, unlike the motorized plastic available today.
