We tested the range of Toyota Auto Body's compact EV, the COMS, by replacing its lead-acid batteries with lithium-ion batteries. Originally, it was equipped with six lead-acid batteries, weighing over 120 kg! By replacing it with lithium-ion batteries, the weight was reduced by 100 kg!
