After being escorted down the aisle in front of the Church of St. Stanislaus in Altos de Chavón by her mother, Doña Divina, Francisca was finally able to say the vows she had kept to herself for years before Francesco Zampogna and nearly 200 wedding guests. "I don't promise to be the perfect woman," the Dominican woman said emotionally to the father of her child during the religious ceremony in the Dominican Republic. "But what I do promise is that I will never give up on our relationship." Or on making their dreams come true. "You have to believe and have faith, and we have to believe that we deserve these things. Everything that goes through our minds can happen in our lives," says Francisca, her voice breaking.
