🥾 Camino Portuguese Coastal Route — Day 16 Our feet were screaming, but the Galician countryside made every step worth it. 📍 Today's Stage: Pontecesures → O Faramello 🚶 Distance: 13.4 miles / 21.6 km ⛰️ Highlight: A peaceful walk through the Galician countryside, knowing we're closing in on our goal of finishing the Camino Portuguese from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. Fortunately, the Albergue had its own restaurant downstairs, and we didn’t have to walk further for dinner. 😅 The Struggle: Achy feet and tired legs made this one tough — we barely made it to our Albergue before check-in opened (good thing too, since we'd already paid!). 🛏️ Where We Stayed: Albergue La Calabeza — a great pick with an on-site restaurant and comfortable rooms. The thick wool blankets kept us cozy on a chilly night.
