Robert Jenrick had a spiky exchange with Sky News' Trevor Phillips over claims that Nigel Farage had received benefits from a convicted criminal. According to The Sunday Times, George Cottrell, who was convicted of wire fraud in the US in 2017, gave the Reform UK leader support with security and social media staff before he was elected, and gave Farage use of a rented property.
