However during development something terrible went wrong. You 'Jake' are now investigating what happened to the game and your father." Super Mario Bros. + is a reimagining of the original Mario.EXE where your brother, who died long ago, has now haunted the game your father worked on all those years ago. His spirit is known as Overseer. The Overseer is the spirit of a 13-year-old boy named Jessie, who was pushed into a lake and drowned. His spirit went on to possess the upcoming add on to Super Mario Bros called “Super Mario Bros.+”. His now older brother Jake who is now a play tester was assigned to play test the game.
