Dive Club - Dive On Malta Dive type - cliff dive Dive Site - Gozo inland sea Max depth - 19.8m Bottom temperature - 24 C Air temperature - 30 C Equipment - GoPro 10 Visiblity - 15m An interesting dive at Gozo's famous Inland Sea! We started our adventure with a careful shore entry, navigating the narrow tunnel that connects this unique lagoon to the open Mediterranean Sea. As we passed beneath the tourist boats, the tunnel opened up to a stunning underwater world. The moment we emerged into the sea, we were greeted by a vibrant explosion of color. Our dive lights illuminated the beautiful corals, revealing their incredible detail and the hidden life among them. We spotted several shy octopuses peeking out from their rocky hideouts and swam alongside schools of magnificent groupers. The highlight of our dive was exploring a cavern with its many intricate side tunnels and small openings carved by the currents, a true labyrinth of karst formations. Returning through the main tunnel required the same caution as the entry, as we carefully timed our exit to avoid the busy flow of tourist boats overhead. This was more than just a dive; it was a great journey through one of Gozo's most iconic underwater landscapes. Subscribe and stay with us so you don't miss new chapters of our underwater adventures.
