Theist Claims Smoking Weed is Communicating With Plant Minds | Matt Dillahunty + Arden Hart

Max believes minds are not limited to brains and says he can demonstrate this. His example is that plants have minds and communicate by smoking them. The chemical compounds produce visuals and feelings which Max interprets as the plant's communication. The hosts challenge him - when two people ingest the same plant, they get different effects. Max confirms the plant intends to communicate but says the message varies person to person. The hosts illustrate how inconsistent "communication" indicates it's just intoxication, not an intelligent mind communicating. Max cannot address this flaw. After 25 minutes, the frustrated hosts conclude Max provided no good evidence minds can exist without brains.
