Crank No Start Diagnosis Nissan Altima

In today's video I will be walking you through the process of diagnosing a does crank but does not start also known as crank no start symptoms. Oftentimes a crank no start situation is caused by a bad fuel pump or bad crank sensor. What we will do is try spraying starter fluid to see if it cranks and then cuts off, that would let us know if the Altima has a bad fuel pump, and then we will try testing for fuel injector signal and Spark signal which would let us know if the nissan crank sensor or crankshaft position sensor or cam sensor, or camshaft position sensor is doing its job correctly. Another reason you would not get crank or cam sensor signal is because this Nissan altima itself is not giving the signal on purpose. That was the situation for my customer car today the transponder from the key had fallen out from the key and the car was not reading the keys chip or transponder which made it not give signal to the sensors to start.
