⛰️CERVINO / MATTERHORN SOLO | La experiencia que me cambió para siempre | Arista del Leone

On July 12–13, 2026, I experienced what was probably the most intense adventure of my life. I climbed the Matterhorn (Cervino, 4,478 m) completely solo via the Lion Ridge (Italian Ridge), approaching from the Italian side and spending the night at Rifugio Jean-Antoine Carrel (3,830 m) before my summit attempt. What initially seemed like a straightforward ascent quickly turned into an incredible physical and mental challenge: highly exposed rock, technical climbing sections, thunderstorms, hail, lightning, thunder, and moments where even the smallest mistake could have had fatal consequences. On the very same day of my ascent, a mountain guide and his client tragically lost their lives on the Matterhorn, a powerful reminder of the respect and caution this mountain demands. This video captures the reality of one of the most iconic and demanding peaks in the Alps—the fear, the uncertainty, the beauty, and the intensity of facing an adventure like this completely alone. ⚠️ This video is not intended to glorify risk or encourage anyone to attempt this climb without the proper experience, skills, and preparation. The mountains should always be approached with the utmost respect. 📍 Mountain: Matterhorn / Cervino (4,478 m) 📍 Route: Lion Ridge (Italian South Ridge) 📍 Mountain Hut: Rifugio Jean-Antoine Carrel (3,830 m) 📅 Climb: July 12–13, 2026 🏔️ Summit: July 13, 2026 #Matterhorn #Cervino #SoloClimbing #Alpinism #Mountaineering #Alps #Climbing #Adventure #ExtremeAdventure #MountainLife
