National security begins in the local government. Approximately 100 local government officials from Mazovia, security experts, academics, and public administration representatives discussed how to prepare residents for crisis situations, infrastructure failures, natural disasters, and the effects of armed conflict. The three-day "Strong Municipality, Strong Poland" conference combined lectures, workshops, and practical exercises aimed to build resilience and prepare local administration for the new responsibilities arising from the Population Protection and Civil Defense Act.
