Finally, I built up the courage! I left Itu for my first "long-distance" road trip with my 1979 VW Beetle (my Herbie replica). It was a 175-mile round trip to "Morro do Fogão" in Itirapina, driving for over 2 hours straight without turning off the engine. In this vlog, I’ll show you how the car handled the highway, the scare it gave me when it almost stalled halfway there, and the anxiety of nearly running out of gas on the way back. The view at Morro do Fogão was worth every drop of sweat (and fuel)!
