I completed this challenge solo and scored 131,000 points. I made this video mostly for myself, so it could be featured on the channel. I'd really like to have a high-score game on the channel, which I stupidly didn't record (I forgot to enable recording in OBS), but there will be a 131,000 damage game. The last result you can see in-game is 128,872 (I looked at the log in the video before going live). After that, I killed three more wasps. Each wasp is worth 825 points (I checked in-game after this run), so I scored 131,347. Essentially, to beat the 136,000 record, I needed to kill another 7-8 wasps (I still had 16 wasps left—8 scanners). With one stack of informers, if you kill all 6 Wasps, you'll get 4950 challenge points. So if you're having trouble racking up damage on Matriarch, here's an alternative. You can farm scanners and go summon them on Closed Gates or Secret Bunker (they have 40-minute games, but you can't exit through the hatch). Or on a regular map near the hatch (it's safer). This method is more stable, plus you don't have to wait for an event. If you suddenly want to get good numbers in your rank, you can get 50-80 thousand points this way. And you don't have to run and die constantly on Matriarch. But for me, it's better to try Matriarch, and then, if that doesn't work, try informers, or, like me, combine the two.
