How to: Clean & replace Ford MAF sensor (Focus Mk1)

Diagnose and service or change the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor on most Fords. The engine featured is a Zetec 2.0 in a Focus Mk1, but the principle is applicable to most cars. Dirty or faulty MAF sensors can lead to problems with engine start, idling, other problems. It's good practice to service them by just cleaning from time to time.
