Can you beat Pokémon Yellow with ONLY shiny Pokémon? In this video, I attempt a Pokémon Yellow Shiny Only Hardcore Nuzlocke, a challenge that technically shouldn’t even be possible due to how shiny Pokémon work in Generation 1. Using DV mechanics and time capsule transfers, I hunt for Pokémon that will become shiny and attempt to beat the entire game under hardcore nuzlocke rules. Unlike modern games, shiny Pokémon don’t visually appear in Pokémon Yellow, making this a unique and difficult shiny hunting challenge. This hardcore nuzlocke includes strict rules such as level caps, no items in battle, and permadeath, making every battle a high-risk decision. From Brock to the Elite Four, this Pokémon Yellow hardcore nuzlocke pushes Gen 1 mechanics to their limits.
