Were We Having More Fun Before Social Media?
Do you ever wonder if we actually had more fun growing up in the 80s and 90s? Back then, every mistake wasn’t captured on someone’s phone. There were no viral videos, no screenshots, no comments section waiting to judge you. We went out, danced badly, wore questionable outfits, made questionable decisions, and somehow survived without the internet documenting every second of it. In this video, I’m reflecting on what it was like growing up before social media and whether today’s generation is missing out on a certain kind of freedom. Is social media helping us stay connected, or has it made everyone too worried about being watched? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Did we really have more fun, or is this just nostalgia talking?
