Oct 16, 2021 - Reset Battery Age on 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid
For a few years now, my 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid has been under performing in gas mileage and acceleration. Seemed to happen overnight. Turns out after 9+ years the car is programmed to stop using the EV battery. I was able to reset it using DYI instructions and an $18 OBD2 scanner purchased from Amazon. Back to being able to squeal the tires from a dead stop!
