Neewer CB300b Video COB Light Review - Cheap, Simple, Pro BiColor Light
This $219.00 COB light is one of the best values around. Simple interface, compact design, carry case and enough light for most applications. At a max of 320 watts producing advertised 135,000 lux at 1 meter it is suitable for most video applications. It does have app control via Bluetooth but we don't use apps, so we did not cover it. We needed a few lights to film in front of our 98" TV as a background and these seemed like the best affordable option. They are not battery powered, so maybe not great for remote shoots, but they work great for our indoor studio. In our case, we will be using the Neewer 35" softboxes so we needed something powerful enough to give us light through hard diffusion but compact enough to fit our space. We have used them a few times now and are very happy with the result.
