В Махачкале провели ифтар для работников скорой помощи

Iftar for ambulances was held in Makhachkala. The event as gratitude for the lives saved during the pandemic was organized by the regional coordinator of the Healthy Future project of the United Russia party Zumrud Buchaeva, together with the co-chair of the regional headquarters of the ONF - Elena Pavlyuchenko, as well as activists of the Young Guard. Ambulance Day in Russia is celebrated on April 28. On this day, the coordinator of the Healthy Future project - Zumrud Buchaeva arrived at the Dagestan Center for Disaster Medicine to support the workers who found themselves on the front lines in the fight against coronavirus and to express words of gratitude for the feat of doctors during the peak of the pandemic. Together with community activists, she organized an iftar for 45 ambulance teams on duty in the capital every day. Volunteers distributed food sets for breaking the fast to those fasting. "In your person, we congratulate all the ambulance workers. I want to say a special thank you. During the pandemic, your service showed some special courage. There are so many examples of how you demonstrate professionalism and such humanity in extreme situations that one can envy when there is a call and when you accept this call - this means another life saved. In such a blessed month of Ramadan, I would like to wish you peace and goodness," said Zumrud Buchayeva, deputy of the People's Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan, addressing the doctors. They congratulated the medical workers on their professional holiday and organized an iftar at the Lazur substation. At the end of the event, Zumrud Buchayeva noted that during the pandemic, doctors, nurses, paramedics and ambulance drivers were under a huge burden, not only physical, but also psychological. This time united the doctors, showing how devoted those who took the Hippocratic oath to their profession are. And yet, the main gift for their work is the saved human lives. "You thanked us today, but such events should become a part of our everyday life, we should not treat this as something special. The most important thing we should do is to become for each of our medical workers the resource of assistance that they have. Therefore, I see that all the people who are here in this hall, they all see themselves in the healthcare system. And I think we can change the situation in the Republic," Buchaeva concluded.
