1949 Chevy Brake System Teardown & Rebuild! | Master + Wheel Cylinders, How to Adjust Huck Brakes!
In today's video we dive into the brake system on my 1949 Chevy Fleetline which has been a one family owned car all its life. The last time it was driven on the road was around 1968, so the brakes have not been serviced in many years. I will show you how to remove the master cylinder from the car, as well as how to rebuild it and the wheel cylinders and finally how to adjust "huck" style brakes, used on chevy cars from around 1940-1951, and the master cylinder style that was used from around 1940-1952, so covering many years of old GM vehicles!
