Today, we're diving into Disney's Coronado Springs Resort – a hotel that both met our expectations, but also took us completely by surprise. 🌟 Join us for an honest overview and review of this resort in the moderate category, nestled between the realms of affordability and luxury. 🌴 While Coronado Springs boasts a fantastic vibe during the day and transforms into a romantic, upscale haven at night with enchanting mood lighting, we encountered some unexpected twists in our stay. The resort's unique pricing structure had us questioning its comfortable fit in the moderate category, deviating from the norm we've come to expect from other Moderate Walt Disney World Resorts. 🛎️ One challenge? The resort moonlights as a Convention Center, bringing a unique atmosphere to dining areas, sometimes hindering the dining experience for guests. We've witnessed guests elbowing other quests out of tables, and we believe a solution is needed to ensure everyone enjoys their meals without disruptions. 🍽️ The biggest dilemma we faced was the inflated food prices – a departure from the usual Disney model. Counter service dish prices soared, averaging $3 to $5 higher than expected, and overall dining costs reached levels more akin [and even beyond] to Deluxe Resorts.
