The first stage of the Cammino dell'Unione (Union Way) from Vignola to Levizzano. A circular walk in the Modena hills, passing through the municipalities of the Terre di Castelli Union. The first stage is challenging due to the amount of asphalt and the heat, but there are no significant elevation changes. From Vignola, after 8 km on the nature trail, you reach Spilamberto and pass through Rocca Rangoni to find yourself back on the town's main avenue. From here, after a very long 8-9 km of asphalt bike path, you reach the area of ​​Castelvetro, where the Grasparossa vineyards begin to come into view. Once you reach the town center, you can admire the beautiful square, characterized by its open-air chessboard. Finally, before reaching Levizzano, a visit to the Oratory of San Michele is a must.
