Once a year, During the Fasnet, the city goes into the hands of fools. A beautiful tradition that has existed since the 16th century. Year after year it revives and inspires young and old. Fasnet/Fasching is a religious festival that brings joy, fun, parades, costumes, and the opportunity to break free. On the day of karneval, you can dress up fancy and wear a mask, dance on the streets, be a part of parade as well. The traditional Swabian-Alemannic Fasnet therefore always in the Southwest,in others parts of Germany known under the name "Fasnacht".
