A devastating fire broke out on a Saturday night. The first report came in at 1:15 a.m., when a passerby saw flames shooting from a restaurant. Within a short time, the building was completely ablaze, with flames shooting through the roof. The fire department escalated to a major fire to get sufficient personnel and equipment on site. Upon arrival, the first units focused on fighting the fire. The Lunteren Fire Department was tasked with protecting the nearby historic restaurant, Juffrouw Tok.
