Australian Railways: Queensland Farewell 1st Generation Electrics (EMUs) 1979-2025.
For some five decades the high pitched gear noise of Queensland Railways first generation electric trains, has wafted across the Brisbane suburbs and beyond. No more, as set 59 completed the last public trip on 5 July 2025. In happier days in 1999, we see set 59 stretching its legs at Eudlo, with other electrics long gone including and ICE set and a 39 class electric locomotive. Uploaded in 4K.
