Steingletcher - SAC Rock & Ice training

Introductory course led by Swiss Alpine Club. Worth taking if you want to learn the baseline skills for ridge traversal, "corde courte" and glacier basics. Climbing is not the focus, but climbing skills and technique helps to move faster over exposed or steep terrain. Conversely alpinism techniques may help safely access/descend some climbing routes (i.e the ridge of Miroir d'Argentine).
