BMW 3 series GT - Which? first drive

Based on a stretched 3 Series platform, it is longer, taller and wider than other 3 Series models. If creating a roomy car rather than a bijou style statement isn't enough of a departure for BMW, it's also given the GT a focus on comfort -- hence the GT's name, which stands for Gran Turismo. While the 3 Series GT's bespoke bumpers, headlights and grille are generally admired, the rear end of the GT is proving more controversial.
