Front Drive Shaft Replacement Installation Part 2

In this video we are watching and understanding how to install a new Front Drive Shaft for Mercedes Benz, with as less disassembly as possible. We ended up with the are suspended on 4 jack stands and the main drive shaft bracket loosened and we moved an exhaust bracket out of the way and a sensor wire. The Front Drive shaft need to be aligned with the Back Spline that has teeth, but two of those teeth are wider than the rest and they will be at 180 degrees opposite from each other. so the hole of the driveshaft needs to align properly with the spline because it also has those two wide teeth that are 180 degrees on opposite sides. so keep that in mind. Also you can remove the small boot from the drive shaft and put it on the spline to better see how to alight it. You would need two people to be able to install the replacement drive shaft. One to pry apart the trans-case and main driveshaft from the body in order for the new replacement front drive shaft to align with the spline and slide back in.
