How To Paint a McLaren P1 With Oil Paint (Quick Step By Step Walk Through)

In this video i will be explaining how I made this painting of a McLaren P1. I will go through most of the steps of making this so you will understand how I made it and how you could paint it too! So if you want to find out how I made this and how you can make this too make sure to watch this video! I start this painting by painting the sky first. I start with the sun and work my way to the lower clouds and the orange sky around the sun. I then painted the blue part of the sky and blended everything. After that I started blocked in the colors of the ocean with the same colors as I used in the sky plus black. Then I painted the ground with a bit of orange and brown and for the rest I used very dark desaturated blue colos. After the first layer had dried I painted the whole sky again using the same colors and techniques. When it looked good enough I painted all the clouds which made it look a lot better and they covered a lot of imperfections in the sky. I also repainted the ocean and the ground. And then the background was finally done and I started painting the McLaren P1. I started by blocking in all the black parts and then I painted the body work. I did this several times before I was satisfied with how it looked. And after approximately 10 hours of work spread out over almost 2 weeks the painting of a McLaren P1 was done!
