Except that Krypton is not mentioned in Superman's first appearance. Neither is Jor-El, Lara or the Kents. Clark was first raised on an orphanage, then by the Kents on a big city, then finally they become farmers in Smallville... At first everyone on Krypton had powers, then they didn't, then Clark had powers due to Earth's gravity... Over two decades had passed before someone decided on the yellow sun source. Kansas only became the Kents' state in the 1978 movie. And the S symbol has meant from Superman to House of L to hope to god knows what's next... These are the many origins of Superman.
