French Country Spring Decor | Thrift Flips, Vignettes & Garden Style

In today’s video, I’m building a French Country spring vignette from the bottom up—starting with a handmade cloche base using clay moldings and layered paint techniques for that timeless, antique look. This project is all about creating a pottery-style base that feels aged, layered, and softly distressed without sanding—just thoughtful paint application and texture. Once the base is complete, I style the glass cloche with a vintage-inspired bird tag, a handmade nest, and layered spring details for a classic French Country look. I am going to use the same technique into a thrifted galvanized farmhouse wire cloche—perfect if you already have one and want to soften it for a spring garden display. To finish the vignette, I create a simple vintage bunny art piece using a printable from Etsy, decoupaged onto a reclaimed board and finished with antique nailhead details for that collected, old-world charm. This is French Country decorating that blends: • Rustic texture • Vintage layering • Casual elegance • Garden-inspired styling Nothing overly fussy. Just timeless spring decorating.
